Some homes come to market often. This one hasn't moved in almost three decades — and once you see the view, you'll understand why. Perched high above the Peninsula's famous "cups country," this architecturally designed Cape Schanck residence commands sweeping ocean and bay vistas from an elevated, tranquil cul-de-sac within the RACV's five-star golf and lifestyle resort. It's one of the precinct's original homes, and it shows in the best possible way — bold, timber-clad architecture with a sense of history and permanence rarely found on the market today.

A sweeping driveway, edged in native Moonahs and coastal planting, leads to a broad timber stairway rising to the lower-level entry deck. Step inside and the home announces itself immediately: a towering, skylit entry void with mezzanine above, dual internal staircases, and an upper level wrapped in glass and balcony, devoted entirely to living, entertaining and drinking in the view. An open wood fireplace brings warmth on winter evenings, while a sheltered alfresco deck off the dining zone looks out over private, Moonah-filled rear gardens. The central kitchen, in well-maintained original condition, faces the water views and is fitted with a gas cooktop, wall oven and dishwasher — ready to enjoy as is, or reimagine as your own.

Downstairs, the main bedroom suite is a retreat in itself: floor-to-ceiling glazing, direct deck access, a fitted walk-in robe, and a spacious corner-spa ensuite framed by lush garden outlooks. This level also offers a second living area, two further bedrooms with fitted robes, the main bathroom, and a dual-access study or fourth bedroom — flexible space for family, guests or working from home.

Practical comforts include split-system heating and cooling, a large double carport under the house with room for a golf buggy, and generous under-house storage.

A rare address in golf's most storied corner of the Peninsula.
Set on 1,077* square metres within the RACV Golf Course and resort precinct, this is Peninsula golf living at its finest, with The Dunes, The National, St Andrews Beach, Moonah Links and Flinders all nearby. Stroll to the resort's cafes and restaurants, step straight onto coastal walking tracks, or take a short drive to Flinders for beaches and cafes, or Fingal for its celebrated hot springs. With easy freeway access, it's around 8 minutes to Rosebud shopping and YAWA, and roughly 80 minutes to the CBD.

Homes like this rarely change hands. This is your chance.
