Architect-designed and custom-built, this remarkable Walkerville residence represents a new generation of high-quality coastal homes, where architectural integrity, craftsmanship and lifestyle come together seamlessly. Set within this tightly held seaside community, the home is both a statement in design and a wonderfully comfortable family retreat.

From the moment you enter, the quality and thoughtfulness are unmistakable. Polished concrete and hardwood floors, exposed beams and textured brick walls create a rich, layered aesthetic that is both contemporary and timeless. Every space has been carefully considered to maximise light, flow and connection to the natural surroundings.

The upper level accommodates three generous bedrooms, each opening to its own private balcony overlooking the treed garden below. The master suite is a true sanctuary, complete with walk-in robe and en suite. Also upstairs is a second living area — ideal as a children’s retreat, media space or a quiet place to read and unwind.

Flexibility is a key strength of this home. It is entirely possible to live on the ground level, where a large bedroom is complemented by a bathroom, laundry and an open plan kitchen, dining and living zone. This layout is perfect for multi-generational living, guests or future-proofing your lifestyle.

Designed for year-round comfort, the home features double glazing, excellent thermal efficiency, air conditioning and a wood fire. Modern conveniences include a fully equipped kitchen, integrated entertainment system and a dedicated BBQ area for relaxed outdoor living.

Crowning the home is the extraordinary rooftop deck, accessed via a striking curved door and set three storeys above ground. This unique vantage point delivers a truly special coastal experience — enjoy morning coffee as Waratah Bay shifts colour with the rising sun, or return in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the stars emerge. It’s also a privileged spot to share space with Walkerville’s abundant birdlife and resident koalas.

Practicality has not been overlooked. A double carport is complemented by a substantial rear storage room, with additional sheds in the backyard providing ample space for surfboards, tools, bikes and toys. There is also room for boat or caravan parking.

Further features include:

900mm Fisher & Paykel stove with pyrolytic oven and gas hotplates

Extensive laundry storage, easily doubling as a walk-in pantry

Converted water tank for wood storage

Plumbing in the downstairs bedroom for potential future home office use

Plumbing and engineering already in place on the balcony for a future rooftop bath

The property also offers strong returns from short-term letting, making it an attractive option for those seeking both lifestyle and income. Details are available upon request.
