Nestled deep near the foothills of the majestic Grampians and just moments from the historic township of Moyston - the birthplace of Australian Rules Football - lies a truly special escape. Built in 2012 and designed with complete fire resistance in mind, this unique off-grid home offers the perfect blend of modern comfort, natural beauty and peaceful seclusion.
Step inside to discover the heart of the home: a warm and inviting open-plan living space featuring a cosy wood fire, floor-to-ceiling windows capturing breathtaking mountain views, and a standout kitchen with a stunning coffee-bean splashback and an island bench crafted from genuine Sorrento limestone. Whether you're entertaining or unwinding, every moment here is framed by the world-class scenery of the Grampians.
The property offers ample room for family and guests, with five bedrooms, two showers and two toilets. Outdoors, enjoy unforgettable evenings around the firepit while taking in the sweeping landscape. The low-maintenance gardens, orchard, veggie patch and onsite dam enhance the lifestyle appeal.
Completely off-grid, the home is powered by 10 solar panels, 32 batteries, and a near-new inverter (approx. 3 years old), supported by gas bottles and approx. 64,000 litres of rainwater storage. Two well-appointed sheds provide exceptional functionality - one with a workshop, bathroom and open fireplace; the second a double garage with an adjoining wood shed. A shipping container offers additional storage, and satellite internet is available for convenience.
Set on 120 acres of tranquillity and supported by steel beams throughout for added fire resistance, this property is ideal for families seeking a tree-change, Airbnb hosts, lifestyle buyers or those searching for a completely private holiday haven.
All this is located approx. 29 minutes to Ararat, 32 minutes to Halls Gap, and just 14 minutes to the Moyston General Store.
