Fully furnished and available on a 6-month lease, this unique mud-brick home offers exceptional craftsmanship, generous space and a peaceful setting.

Designed by local architect Robert Marshall and owner-built by mud-brick artisan Gary Dyson to his own exacting standards, this distinctive home combines character and warmth with practical living.

Tucked away at the end of a quiet court, the home features native landscaping, brick floors, mud-brick walls and timber-lined ceilings with exposed beams. Almost every room opens onto expansive, shady verandas, paved with reclaimed bricks and overlooking the tranquil, private garden, creating inviting outdoor spaces to enjoy year-round.

The bespoke kitchen is a standout feature, crafted from solid timber and equipped with stainless steel appliances and a convenient walk-in pantry. A servery window opens to the alfresco area, connecting the kitchen with the meals area, where an open fireplace creates a welcoming setting for family gatherings.

Adjacent to the meals area, the expansive, light-filled living room offers plenty of space to relax and entertain, complete with a wood heater and split-system heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

The home offers three bedrooms, including a spacious main bedroom upstairs featuring a walk-in robe and ensuite. An additional outdoor study provides a separate space for working from home or quiet study. The remaining bedrooms include built-in robes and are serviced by a family bathroom and separate toilet. A relaxing library area and spacious, solid timber-fitted laundry add further appeal.

Outside, the private garden and expansive verandas provide peaceful spaces to unwind, while the driveway offers uncovered parking for two cars.

Conveniently located between Eltham and Research, the property is moments from bike paths, walking tracks and scenic trails.

Please note: The property is offered fully furnished on a six-month lease. The garage is not included in the tenancy.
