Inside, exposed Oregon-pine beams and the home's distinctive timber details create an inviting setting for everyday living or weekends away. The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge keep everyone connected, while the potbelly fire is a cosy place to gather after a winter beach walk. Solid-oak kitchen doors add to the relaxed country character.

The main bedroom sits on the ground floor, with sliding doors opening directly to the covered side alfresco. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to bedroom two and the generous open loft third bedroom, which opens to the balcony. With timber-lined walls and sloping ceilings, this upper level captures the cabin feeling beautifully, with space in the loft bedroom for a reading nook or sitting area.

Sliding doors from the loft open to the balcony, where the outlook stretches over the treetops and valley towards the lakes and distant scarp. It is a lovely spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink as the light softens across the landscape.

Outdoor living is just as inviting. The covered side alfresco sits among established greenery and flowering plants, while the rear entertaining area and rustic outdoor kitchen provide room for leisurely lunches and relaxed gatherings. Bushland around the home adds to the sense of retreat, with gardens that soften the setting and bring nature close.

The driveway provides a manageable approach to this elevated home, with a carport and space for the boat or caravan. Tucked directly behind the carport, the approximately 3.7m x 4.6m powered shed makes a handy workshop or man shed for tools, fishing gear and weekend projects. If storing the toys takes priority, part of the generous rear alfresco could be used for additional covered storage, as the current dinghy demonstrates, while the side alfresco remains available for outdoor dining and relaxing.
