Located high on the western slopes of Kangaroo Hill, Wren Hill is a captivating 4HA (10 acre) country property where magnificent natural beauty, sweeping rural views and beautifully established gardens combine to create an idyllic country lifestyle. With breathtaking vistas stretching north towards Mount Alexander, across the rolling countryside to the east and spectacular sunsets to the west, this is a property that celebrates its remarkable position in the landscape.

At the highest point of the property, magnificent 150-year-old Manna Gums stand proudly against the skyline, their towering canopies providing a wonderful sense of history and permanence. From this elevated vantage point, panoramic views unfold in every direction, revealing a spectacular patchwork of farmland, distant mountains and endless skies. It is a truly beautiful setting, with a sense of peace and privacy.

The residence has been positioned to embrace these extraordinary surroundings, with soaring vaulted ceilings, generous proportions and expansive glazing drawing the landscape into the home. At its centre, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area creates an inviting space with natural light filling the interiors, while the ever-changing countryside provides a spectacular backdrop.

The beautifully appointed kitchen offers generous preparation and entertaining areas, quality Siemens appliances and a substantial butler's pantry. A centrally positioned Lopi Cast Iron Wood Stove brings warmth and atmosphere to the living space, creating a wonderful place to gather on cooler evenings.

The main bedroom includes a walk-in robe and private ensuite. Two additional bedrooms feature built-in robes, while a separate study or fourth bedroom provides flexibility for visiting family, guests or those working from home. A spacious family bathroom and practical laundry with external access complete the floorplan.

Beyond the home, the gardens are a particularly beautiful feature of Wren Hill. Lovingly established and carefully maintained, they offer a wonderful balance of formal landscaping and the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. Meandering gravel pathways lead through richly planted garden beds, ornamental perennial borders and seasonal displays, while established trees and hedging create sheltered garden rooms and intimate spaces to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Beautifully constructed stone walls and steps add texture and character throughout the landscape, complemented by steel garden edging and carefully considered plantings. An extensive drip irrigation system supports the established gardens, while native insect hotels reflect a thoughtful approach to encouraging biodiversity and supporting the local environment.

There is something particularly special about wandering through these gardens, discovering a quiet place beneath the magnificent gums or enjoying a picnic overlooking the countryside. At the top of the hill, the views are simply extraordinary, providing the perfect vantage point to watch the changing light across the landscape and the sun disappear beyond the western horizon.

For those seeking a more self-sufficient country lifestyle, the property offers excellent practical infrastructure, including rain collection tanks & water storage, a substantial machinery shed, garden shedding and a dedicated chicken shed and run. The ten acres provide generous space for gardening, hobby farming or simply enjoying the freedom and privacy of a substantial rural holding.

Despite its wonderfully peaceful setting, Wren Hill is exceptionally well positioned within one of central Victoria's most desirable lifestyle regions. The vibrant township of Kyneton is approximately 15 minutes away, with Woodend and Daylesford both within around 20 minutes, while Melbourne is approximately 75 minutes by car.
