A masterful blend of timeless Victorian elegance and cutting-edge contemporary design, this extraordinary terrace occupies a truly exceptional position in the centre of Melbourne’s elite Domain Precinct, one of the city’s most prestigious, tightly held and highly sought-after residential locations. Just 50 metres from the Royal Botanic Gardens, this rare residence offers an unmatched lifestyle opportunity in an address synonymous with prestige, exclusivity and enduring desirability. Painstakingly renovated under the creative direction of Kestie Lane and Matt Gibson, and realised by award-winning Visioneer Builders (2022 HIA Best Renovation), this residence is a showcase of design excellence, having graced the pages of Belle Magazine, Habitus Living, Est Living and The Local Project.

Behind its historic façade, the home has been meticulously reimagined to maximise space, natural light and functionality, creating a seamless contemporary environment while retaining the character and presence of its Victorian origins. Every junction, material and detail has been considered with exceptional precision.
This architectural icon features five distinct outdoor zones, crowned by a spectacular rooftop terrace complete with built-in BBQ and dining area, capturing sweeping 360-degree views across the CBD skyline and surrounds. Lush gardens by Eckersley Garden Architecture add a serene natural touch, seamlessly complementing the home's sophisticated interiors and creating a series of private spaces for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

State-of-the-art technology is embedded throughout, with the home almost entirely automated through a sophisticated GIRA smart home system. From anywhere in the world, owners can remotely manage virtually every element of the property — from lighting, heating and security through to music, irrigation and kitchen appliances — providing an extraordinary level of convenience, control and peace of mind.

The fully integrated Bang & Olufsen sound system can be controlled throughout the home, while Rain Bird irrigation allows the gardens to be managed remotely. Miele kitchen appliances can similarly be monitored and controlled from afar, including remotely switching the oven on or off and even checking the contents of the refrigerator.

Complementing this remarkable level of automation are KNX home automation, Basalte switches and sleek ZETR power points, all integrated with an emphasis on discretion and refined design. Technology is present throughout, yet never compromises the calm, sophisticated character of the interiors.

Every element speaks to craftsmanship and considered luxury — from Poliform joinery and Artedomus stone finishes to custom solid-stone basins, bespoke bathrooms and Vola tapware. Handcrafted internal doors and flawless detailing throughout further reflect the extraordinary level of craftsmanship invested in the residence.

More than a renovation, this is a complete architectural transformation: a rare Victorian residence where heritage, landscape, technology and contemporary design have been brought together with exceptional clarity.

An iconic home in an enviable position, offering the character of Melbourne's architectural past with the intelligence, comfort and functionality of its future.
