Beyond wrought iron gates framed in stone, the driveway curves gently inward—and just like that, the outside world is left behind. “Waratah” doesn’t reveal itself all at once. It unfolds.

Set across ten magnificent acres, this generational estate is a masterclass in beauty, balance, and meticulous care. The gardens alone feel like a private botanical collection—layered, structured, and immaculately maintained—guiding you toward a home that has been completely transformed, refined, and reimagined.

Then, the view.

From the north-facing veranda, the landscape opens in a way that feels almost surreal—lush paddocks rolling outward, a private lake shimmering below, and gardens framing it all like a painting. There’s a distinct European romance here, reminiscent of a hillside retreat above Lake Como or a sun-drenched terrace in the south of France. It’s not just beautiful—it’s transportive.

The home itself has been entirely renovated to an exceptional standard. Every finish, every fixture, every material has been carefully chosen to elevate both form and function. At its heart, a spectacular glass atrium anchors the indoor-outdoor lifestyle—complete with automated café blinds and a retractable roof above the outdoor kitchen, allowing the space to shift effortlessly with the seasons.

Inside, the atmosphere is one of quiet luxury. Stone floors flow through the central living zones, while plush wool carpets soften the more intimate spaces. The kitchen is both elegant and highly functional, with stone benchtops, a Belfast sink, Ilve cooker, and a fully equipped butler’s pantry—designed for serious entertaining without compromising on style.

Multiple living zones create flexibility and comfort. The formal lounge, with its timber bay window and open fireplace, opens gracefully onto the veranda, while the casual living and dining areas connect seamlessly to the gardens beyond. A fully fitted bar room adds an unexpected layer of indulgence.

Accommodation is generous and thoughtfully zoned. Two master suites offer sanctuary-like retreats—each with walk-in robes and beautifully appointed ensuites—while additional bedrooms provide space for family or guests, all finished with the same attention to detail.

Step outside, and the experience deepens.

An enclosed spa pavilion sits like a glasshouse among the gardens, while multiple outdoor entertaining zones invite gathering in every season—from the refined atrium kitchen to a more rustic fire pit and pizza oven terrace overlooking the dams and paddocks.

Water defines the property. Two dams—one vast—are fed by bore and never run dry. Timber decking leads you down to the main dam, complete with a private jetty where you can cast a line for some Murray Cod, or simply sit and watch the light change across the water.

Hidden behind manicured hedging, the pool precinct is pure escapism. An enormous heated pool, pool house, and surrounding terraces evoke the feeling of a private resort—again echoing the effortless elegance of Lake Como.

Beyond the main residence, a beautifully renovated guest cottage provides independent accommodation, while extensive shedding, garaging, and infrastructure ensure the property is as practical as it is beautiful. Solar, water storage, bore access, and established systems support a lifestyle of independence and sustainability.

Set within the leafy surrounds of Wattle Glen, this property enjoys the best of both worlds—peaceful, semi-rural living just 25–30km from Melbourne’s CBD. Between Diamond Creek and Hurstbridge, it’s part of Melbourne’s prized green wedge, Wattle Glen offers space, privacy, and a connection to nature, while still retaining everyday convenience including a train station on a metropolitan line.

From productive gardens and fruit trees to open paddocks currently agisting cattle, every inch of “Waratah” has been considered, curated, and cared for.
This is not simply a home. It’s a place designed to be lived in, shared, and passed on.

A true generational estate—timeless, private, and unforgettable.
