Welcome to 23A Brumfield Road, where great design creates the opportunity for a great lifestyle.

Set on top of the hill (the flat part!), capturing distant views across farmland flats to nearby hills, this home is made to enjoy sunsets on the rear deck. The quintessential Yarra Valley home.

But before you get to the superb deck which runs along the rear of the home, the scene is set externally from the front, with the subtle yet stylish exterior. A large carport provides space for two cars, and direct entry into the home, while the forecourt also has ample car space for visitors. The carport presents the simplest of transformations to full garage accommodation including internal access to the home for those who require more peace of mind security.

The oversized front door leads into a beautiful foyer, with celestial windows, a space to pause and leave the world behind. Beautiful solid hardwood floors feature here and through the home.

To the left are two large bedrooms, separated by a toilet and family bathroom. Both rooms have ample wardrobe space, ceiling fans and are carpeted for comfort on those crisp Healesville mornings.

Clever use of courtyards floods the hallway with light as you descend a short flight of stairs; these spaces also provide great air circulation on hot days, in addition to added outdoor spaces to enjoy.
At the end of the hall and taking the door on the left is the spacious Master bedroom suite, with separate toilet, ensuite, large walk-in robe and lovely large bedroom space. Full length windows and doors capture the views and provide direct access to the deck.

Through the door on the right, immediately you have that sense of Wow! Again, floor to ceiling doors and windows capture the views beyond. This large living, kitchen and dining space spills out onto the generous deck. Plenty of room for reading nooks, large dining table and comfortable lounges, both internally and externally. Year-round indoor / outdoor transitional living will simply be a part of every day life.

The kitchen sits to the rear, with loads of cupboards and bench space, with the window enjoying light from the courtyard. An island bench adds even more workspace, or a spot to enjoy spreading out with the weekend papers. Plenty of space to prepare a meal created from local Yarra Valley produce.

Adjacent is an extra-large laundry with cupboards, another toilet and access on to the central deck.

With 20 fruit trees, and a lovely garden, wonderful undercover veranda ( with some open areas) and a location just minutes from Healesville Main Street, this is a rare example of design excellence- where a considered floorplan enhances the quality of life for those who are lucky enough to live in such a home.
