Offering an enviable semi-rural lifestyle in one of Wallington’s most exclusive settings, “Picton House” is a timeless 1.57Ha (3.87-acres approx.) estate that offers the perfect blend of country charm and modern sophistication, with sought after dual occupancy flexibility.

Comprising an elegant farmhouse-style main residence, adjoining self-contained accommodation, and productive grounds, the property presents a rare opportunity for large and extended families to indulge their passion for country-style living, just five minutes from the heart of Ocean Grove.

Set back from the road with native greenery providing a natural privacy screen, the main residence reveals itself with a substantial family-focused floorplan.

Beyond an entry vestibule, parquet flooring, high ceilings and a gas log fire underpin the refined character of the open plan living domain, anchored by a sublime kitchen boasting Miele cooking appliances, Asko dishwasher, and stone finishes.

An entire main bedroom wing with its own sitting room and bathroom sets the tone for parental indulgence, while two further bedrooms (including second main with walk-in robe and ensuite) sit in a versatile north wing, supplemented by two home offices, a family bathroom, and a central library or fourth bedroom.

Spaces for all occasions continue with a formal dining area and yet another fireside loungeroom, as the floorplan flows at every opportunity to multiple alfresco options, perfect for enjoying the serenity in total privacy.

Semi-detached yet affording privacy with its own driveway access, the adjoining self-contained residence is ideal for guests, multi-generational families, or income earning potential, offering up to three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and open plan living with wood fire, reverse-cycle a/c, and a chic French country-style kitchen.

Outdoors are just as impressive with the parklike grounds indulging a range of hobbies, whether that’s housing a pony or two, creating your own food forest, or continuing the property’s current small batch honey and olive oil productions.

Additional features include geothermal heating, reverse cycle air conditioning, solar electricity, large chicken coop, a range of fruit trees, and plenty of parking options for added convenience.

Despite its whisper quiet setting bordering a verdant reserve, this property remains close to all daily essentials. Kingston Village is just a five-minute drive away, with Ocean Grove’s sun and surf lifestyle slightly further on, embodying the best of both worlds.
