Spanning 7.775 hectares (19.22 acres) in the tightly held Trentham region, this exceptional property presents the opportunity to create your own dream country home.

While there is no existing residence, the property offers the freedom to build a bespoke home of your choosing, complemented by an established truffle orchard, beautifully maintained rural surrounds and a collection of fully serviced ancillary buildings.

Private, beautifully established and rich in lifestyle possibilities, Winter Creek Farm invites you to immerse yourself in the land while enjoying the rare benefit of an established, income-producing truffle enterprise.

At the centre of the property is a beautifully maintained 387-tree evergreen oak truffière, now in its ninth year of production. The truffière has already produced commercial quantities of highly sought-after winter black truffles and is entering an increasingly productive phase as the trees mature.

Meeting international export standards, it provides an established foundation for premium wholesale and direct-to-market opportunities.

However, Winter Creek Farm is about far more than its commercial potential.

For more than a decade, the land has been carefully nurtured through regenerative farming practices, free from tilling, pesticides and artificial fertilisers. Five thoughtfully configured paddocks support rotational grazing, while rich, biologically active soils and abundant water resources contribute to the property’s productivity and long-term resilience.

Winter Creek meanders through the holding, with its natural environment sensitively rejuvenated to encourage native habitat and ecological health. Mature deciduous trees, established plantings and majestic pine shelter belts create a beautiful sense of permanence, privacy and shelter.
It is a landscape that changes beautifully with the seasons — from the anticipation of spring growth and long summer afternoons beneath established trees, to autumn colour throughout the property and the quiet magic of winter in the Trentham countryside.

The infrastructure is equally impressive, thoughtfully developed to support both lifestyle and enterprise. Commercial-grade irrigation services the orchard and grounds, supported by a 2-megalitre dam, 2-megalitre water right, substantial water storage, reticulated water to five paddocks and two-phase power. Town sewerage is connected, the property is fully fenced, with established cattle yards, all-weather access and generous on-site parking completing the well-appointed infrastructure.

A collection of fully serviced ancillary buildings, including self-contained accommodation and utility spaces, adds further flexibility for family, guests, staff or supplementary income.

For those drawn to the idea of creating something of their own, Winter Creek Farm offers an exciting additional layer of possibility. An approved planning permit for a commercial space with accommodation and a liquor licence provides a foundation for a future venture that could complement the property’s agricultural and lifestyle appeal. Farm-gate sales, private truffle experiences, curated events, paddock-to-plate dining, or a boutique food and agritourism offering are all possibilities within a region renowned for its produce, hospitality and culinary culture.

Importantly, none of this needs to define the way the property is enjoyed.

At its essence, Winter Creek Farm is a beautiful rural retreat — a place to live, entertain, grow, explore and enjoy the rewards of country life. The established truffle orchard simply adds another dimension: a working enterprise with proven income and the potential to grow alongside the next chapter of the property.

For those seeking a lifestyle with purpose, an opportunity to live close to the land, or simply the rare privilege of owning an established truffle farm in one of Victoria’s most sought-after regional landscapes, Winter Creek Farm offers a compelling combination of beauty, privacy and possibility.

A remarkable country lifestyle, an established agricultural enterprise, and the freedom to shape what comes next.
