Right on the banks of the Yarra River, where the water flows, wildlife roams and the setting feels like a dream, this is Bend of Islands living at its most private and serene. Occupying approximately 2,745 sq m, the property offers a spacious family residence plus an abundance of flat land to use at your leisure.

Held by the same owners for more than two decades and updated over that time, the split-level home has been designed to take full advantage of its spectacular landscape. Huge windows frame the trees and river, raked timber-lined ceilings and hardwood floors bring warmth to the interiors, and wide verandahs wrap around both levels, with multiple entry points. The first floor of the home is introduced by a generous entrance that doubles as an office with ample storage. From here, you’ll arrive at the inviting living and dining area where doors to the verandah allow entertaining to spill effortlessly outside. The modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, glass splashbacks and stone benchtops, including a sociable breakfast island. Two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes are also located on this floor, together with an open plan bathroom, two toilets and a laundry with verandah access.
Downstairs, a rumpus room opens to a sunbathed courtyard and a lush expanse of lawn. Here, there is enough space for large family gatherings, basketball or netball practice and other ball sports. Two further bedrooms are arranged off the rumpus, including the main bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite.

Peaceful, picturesque and packed with extras, this is a place to breathe deeply and live freely in a well-connected community.
