Offered for the first time in more than 55 years, this is the kind of landholding a blue-chip pocket surrenders only once in a generation. Set on a substantial 1,172sqm (approx.) and backing directly onto the Gardiners Creek reserve, the property enjoys a serene, leafy outlook and not a single rear neighbour only the birdlife and parkland beyond the back fence.

Behind cottage-style gardens, a meandering brick path and a classic front porch, a nostalgic Californian Bungalow holds the character of its era, ornate ceilings, French doors, picture rails and lead-lighting. A double-door entry opens to a wide, hardwood-panelled lobby, an expansive lounge warmed by afternoon sun streaming in, a study/reading nook framing the front garden, a sky-lit dining room, and a large, well-appointed kitchen with walk-in pantry. Three bedrooms (BIRs) are anchored by a generous main at the front, while a spacious rear family room, an ideal family/rumpus room overlooks the sprawling back garden.

Outside, a studio/workshop and separate shed add flexibility, and a long driveway offers secure off-street parking for multiple vehicles, with gas heating and split-system heating & cooling throughout. Beyond the home as it stands, the scale of the land invites ambition to renovate and extend, redevelop, or build a luxurious dream residence with resort-style pool and tennis court all subject to council approval (STCA).

Only steps from the Gardiners Creek walking and cycling trail, with Ferndale Park, Nettleton Park and local sporting fields moments away. Esteemed schools, gyms, Glen Iris Pantry and the surrounding café scene are all close, while Gardiner and Glen Iris stations, the No. 6 and No. 72 trams and the nearby Monash Freeway make the city and airport effortless. Opportunities of this size, position and scope are rare - this one is not to be missed.
