Rich in character, timeless in style and positioned on an extraordinary 3,165m² (approx.) allotment in the heart of Buninyong, this magnificent circa 1911 period residence called ‘Garfellan’, presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Backing directly onto the picturesque De Soza Park, Garfellan enjoys a peaceful, verdant outlook, while being just a short stroll from Buninyong's vibrant township, including cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, schools and everyday conveniences. Combining historic charm with luxurious modern updates, this remarkable family home delivers an enviable lifestyle in one of Ballarat's most tightly held communities.

Behind its stunning period façade, the home showcases polished timber floors, soaring ceilings and an abundance of beautifully preserved character features throughout. A grand formal lounge with stunning box bay windows creates an elegant setting for entertaining, while the formal dining room is enhanced by plantation shutters and a warm, welcoming gas log fireplace. At the heart of the home is an impressive open plan kitchen, meals and family living zone, featuring a brand-new craftsperson made American Oak timber kitchen complete with two 900mm ovens, induction and gas cooktops, integrated refrigeration, concealed dishwasher and an enormous butler's pantry that functions almost as a second kitchen. Comfort is assured all year-round with gas central heating, evaporative cooling and an additional reverse cycle split system servicing the main family room.

Accommodation is equally impressive, offering five generous bedrooms and three beautifully appointed bathrooms, all recently refurbished. The king-sized master suite is a true retreat with a walk-in robe and marble ensuite with separate shower and toilet. The second bedroom is also king-sized and serviced by a bathroom with stunning glass mosaics by designer Greg Natale. Bedrooms three, four and five all include built-in robes and are serviced by a separate toilet and large, elegant bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and a further Greg Natale glass mosaic design. The lighting throughout the home is period authentic, chandeliers and pendants of exceptional quality crown the very special atmosphere of this home.

Stepping outside, you'll discover a spectacular undercover decked alfresco complete with bistro blinds, creating the perfect space for year-round entertaining while overlooking the expansive, beautifully manicured rear gardens. The rear fence, a whimsical drystone wall, is a scaled work of art, incorporating stone carved creatures and wrought iron ‘fairy’ portals. The enormous allotment offers endless possibilities, with ample room for a tennis court, resort-style swimming pool or additional shedding (STCA). Completing this outstanding property are an extra large double garage, three-phase power and two 20,000-litre water tanks, making this truly one of Buninyong's finest lifestyle offerings.
