Built in 1908 'Argyle' is a historical farmhouse that is a great example of a Federation home with original doors, windows and dado rail. This home boasts 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms and is set on 6915m2 of land divided into three sections, the house block and a paddock either side. With large Balcony's on 3 sides of the house that joins to a large deck overlooking Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory. Inside is a kitchen that has been updated with a 900mm oven, inducted cooktop and dishwasher but still with a historic feel. The kitchen joins a dining and living area with views across the inlet and Wilsons Prom, all with 12 foot ceilings and polished floor boards. A wood fire heater and reverse cycle heater/cooler will keep the temperature comfortable with a heat transfer kit to keep the rest of the house warm. A large hallway leads you to a second living area with an open fire. Two of the Three bedrooms have their own fireplaces, the master bedroom has an ensuite.
It has 6.4kw solar panels and a battery to reduce power bills as well as a heat pump hot water system.
Outside are large sheds, the largest one has a working kitchen and has been renovated throughout, additional tool sheds and wood shed joins on. A large undercover area with two sea containers allows heaps of room for parking a caravan, boats or trailers. 5 water tanks totaling over 100,000 litres of water storage. One paddock has fruit trees on it, with room for more, while the other paddock is fully fenced with plenty of grass on it presently to home to some sheep.
The house block has hedges, trees and even a picket fence at the front.
This home is perfect for someone looking for the historical feel but still with all the modern convenience's, it is full of history and is a very rare find.
