Sweeping across Port Phillip Bay to the distant horizon, the views from this superb fifth-floor residence are nothing short of spectacular. Sailing boats and distant ships move across the water, bringing an ever-changing quality to a panorama enjoyed from the living spaces, balcony and both bedrooms. At street level, the contrast is irresistible: Hampton Village and the station are at the doorstep, with the beach just footsteps away.

Dark engineered oak flooring brings warmth to generous open-plan living and dining, while expansive glazing places the breathtaking outlook firmly centre stage. The living room extends to a substantial balcony, where sea breezes accompany long lunches, drinks as the sun sets across the bay and lingering evenings as the view transforms with the fading light.

Sleek and beautifully appointed, the kitchen features a breakfast island, complemented by stone finishes, Miele appliances and integrated Fisher & Paykel refrigeration. Extensive cabinetry continues through the dining area, providing an extraordinary amount of storage while maintaining the clean, streamlined aesthetic.

A wall of glass gives the main bedroom its own magnificent perspective, with the immense blue expanse of the bay stretching into the distance. Built-in robes and a beautifully finished ensuite complete this retreat, while the second robed bedroom also looks to the water, with the stylish main bathroom nearby.

Everyday comfort and practicality are equally well considered, with secure lift entry and video intercom, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, ceiling fans and carpet to both bedrooms, a concealed Euro laundry, storage cage and basement car space.

Step outside and Hampton’s cafes, restaurants, shops and trains are immediately at hand, with the sand and sea wonderfully close. Above it all, the changing colours, movement and breadth of the bay make coming home something special.
