The grand Italianate-style residence The Ozone Hotel (circa 1881) was a premier holiday destination for wealthy Victorians at the turn of the century. True to the original brief, this renovated apartment residence continues to offer an exclusive lifestyle in a distinguished coastal location.

A grand apartment, it spans the top level northern wing of the heritage-listed Ozone Hotel and captures iconic views over Port Phillip Bay to Portsea and Point Nepean. Vistas encompass the original Queenscliff pier, modern ferry terminal and new harbour development.

The generous floor plan comprises four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge open plan kitchen, living and dining area, northern balcony, plus laundry and powder room. The sweeping staircase and characterful entrance hall prepare the eye for the impressive dimensions and attention to detail within. Luxury extras include a lift, private lobby and cellar, hydronic heating throughout and refrigerated air conditioning in the living zone.

The contemporary, recently renovated finish is a modernised nod to the original grandeur of the building. In the kitchen, the elegant marble-topped island bench demarcates cooking and living and provides an impressive gathering place when entertaining. The private northern balcony embraces the water views and provides a breezy feel to this grand social hub. Many rooms boast dual aspect views over the bay, town and private gardens.

The expansive master bedroom offers a deluxe ensuite with double shower and twin vanity. Two further bedrooms boast extensive proportions and are serviced by a family bathroom with shower over bath. The fourth, smaller bedroom is a flexible space, doubling as an office or sitting room with breathtaking views over Port Phillip Bay and Queenscliff.

A short stroll from renowned cafes, restaurants, boutiques and galleries, this home offers privileged permanent residency and boasts demonstrated success in the high-end holiday rental market.
