Bring your paint brush, your flooring samples and your hopes and dreams – because I have a growing list of ideas on how to improve, capitalise upon, and make this a ‘Forever Home’ to be proud of – it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you home to 79 Clontarf Street, Sorrento!

On the market FOR THE FIRST TIME since built in 1971, this generous and solid family abode is looking for new owners with the vision and the passion to bring it stylishly into the future for the next generation of happy memories and believe me when I say – show it the love it deserves, and this one will LOVE you back!

Two generous living rooms including a huge sunken loungeroom (think awesome theatre room), a spacious kitchen which due to its layout could easily be renovated into the envy of your friends (Christmas dinner is here this year!); 4 large bedrooms (all currently with Queen-size beds in them) with built-in robes and a central patio area off the main living room, and all this is perfectly positioned on a block that is walking distance from the beach in the heart of one of our most famous coastal suburbs.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you just know this has been a happy home for three generations of the same family to grow and gather for over 50 years, and as a renovator I would love to see it retained and reimagined, but I’m a realist – and we are on a favoured street on 710m2 of prime Sorrento soil with Laneway One at the rear and exceptional views over Robin Reserve, so let’s talk about options, because from my research the original home is a little too far back to carve off the rear block for sale… (but please do your own due diligence)…

• Renovate this much-loved home and improve on the livability with a pool and a resort-style alfresco for summer fun and family entertaining; improve on the parking like they have next door
• Retain and renovate the home, and add a Granny-flat facing the laneway for relatives, or rental income – or to live in while you demo the house and rebuild your dream home!
• Detonate the house and build two brand new abodes, to invest, sell both, or sell one and move in to the other
• Bulldoze the house and build your own stunning Sorrento mansion, worthy of the location and customised to the slope of the block (as neighbours have done up the street)
• Build your dream home facing Laneway One, overlooking the park, and build your second home (for family, or as a rental) facing Clontarf at street level
• Add another storey to the original home, which may allow you to lose some of the footprint in order to subdivide the rear block…

The sky is the limit (and the City of Joondalup planning department approval, of course), but however you look at it, this is an amazing opportunity and so I suggest you jump on it – call me now to inspect, or catch me for a chat at the home open!

PLEASE NOTE THE PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO SELLER WARRANTY BUT WE ARE UNAWARE OF ANYTHING NOT WORKING
