Live opposite Lake Claremont on one of Claremont's most enviable locations with this stunning, individual dual-residence property, with nothing left to do but move in, relax and enjoy.

Nestled at the cul-de-sac end of Elliot Road, one of Claremont's most tightly held pockets, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful bespoke property with two self-contained residences and a prestigious address. Properties here rarely come onto market - and for good reason.

With this home privately tucked away on a rear block at the quiet cul-de-sac end of Elliot Road, this is truly a lifestyle location, idyllic yet just minutes to all the best Claremont offers. Walk to Claremont Quarter, Claremont Village, the Showgrounds, Revo Fitness Stadium and Scotch College. Start your mornings with a walk or run around Lake Claremont or take the dog to the dog park right across the road before grabbing your morning coffee from Lake Espresso or Teebox Cafe.

Sports and fitness fanatics will love being minutes to Claremont Aquatic Centre, gyms, yoga and clubs for golf, water polo, tennis and football. Walk to catch up with friends at The Claremont Hotel, Eight Bites or Crocca Pizzeria or to a show at one of the local theatres. Meanwhile those with kids or grandkids will love the proximity to fantastic playgrounds and schools, while the access to public transport and grocery stores is another plus.

An original solid 1970s build, the house has been completely reimagined and extended in recent years. Two dwellings now include the three bedroom main house and one bedroom granny flat with private ROW access, giving broad appeal for those living with an older child or relative. Alternatively, live in the main house and rent out the granny flat long-term or as an Airbnb.

Black and white Frederico Carrilio tiles highlight the house's entry portico with bespoke steel gate. Step inside and you will realise this is a home like no other. Layers of textures including plywood, plank walls, mini orb, recycled brick and high-end porcelain tile floors combine with a carefully sourced selection of vintage and reclaimed features to create a bespoke home that is warm, welcoming and unique.

Those who love cooking and entertaining will love the open-plan living and dining that flows into a big kitchen, nicely tucked away at the back with a corner window capturing the northern light. Designer cabinetry and stainless steel benchtops offer generous storage and cooking space. Appliances include double Baumatic ovens, Barazza gas cooktop with statement cylinder rangehood, ASKO dishwasher and fully integrated fridges and freezer, including a full-length wine fridge that entertainers will adore.

In the living, original vintage bar shelves and a statement mirror add focal points to the layered, textured feel. A European laundry with Corian benchtops sits behind beautiful Japanese screens. The living area connects to a cosy covered patio and private, vibrant garden with easy-care plants.

The ground floor main suite is a spacious extension with beautiful built-in cabinetry that forms a luxurious dressing area.

In the ensuite, a huge, statement black marble vanity has an interesting history, sourced from the demolished Prix D'Amour, the famous former home of Rose Porteous. The ensuite has a large shower and lots of storage, as well as a comfortable bath.

There is nice separation between the main suite and the two bedrooms upstairs. Both are nicely sized and private, with beautiful vintage Japanese screens to the windows. The front bedroom has a large four-door robe. An elegant, hotel-like bathroom services both bedrooms, with full-height tiling, big shower and vintage ceiling light.

The granny flat is - in a nutshell - cool. Recycled red brick steps from the courtyard garden lead to the flat with recycled bottle glass entry door revealing a palette of textures that gives this little home an industrial, warehouse conversion vibe. A quality kitchen offers plenty of storage, breakfast bar, Blanco oven and gas cooktop.

A wall of timber-framed windows and doors opens to the enclosed, covered patio, a perfect dining or WFH spot; private yet with glimpses of the stunning park trees nearby. There is a bedroom and chic bathroom with custom-made timber vanity. The granny flat has its own laundry nook and private entry off the ROW, which offers parking space for two cars. Meanwhile the main house has parking space for two cars in front, one beneath a carport. Both residences have split-system air-conditioners.

If you are looking for a home that will feel like your own chic, cosy retreat in a five star location, this very cool, very special property could be the one.
