You could almost miss the front gate.

Then you wind your way up the driveway, with no idea what is waiting at the top. And suddenly, you stop. You step out of the car and take it all in.

It is one of those rare, genuine wow moments.

These days, words like extraordinary and amazing are thrown around so freely that they can be difficult to believe. This is the sort of property those words were made for.

132 acres (Approx.) of rolling hills, rocky outcrops and uninterrupted views Eastward. Space in every direction. Complete privacy. A quietness that settles over you almost immediately.

And then you discover the house.

This is the final build by the late Paul Couch, a renowned Australian architect whose work was influenced by modern Brutalism and a belief that architecture should sit confidently within its landscape. You can see that thinking here. Strong architectural forms, concrete and natural materials give the house presence, while the generous glazing brings in the light and constantly reconnects you with the country beyond.

And this isn't an idea on paper. The build is well underway. Double-glazed windows are in, the concrete floors are down and water tanks are already in place. Two dams sit within the property, and the land is ready to be used for stock, with plenty of room for grazing, gardens, orchards and whatever else you want to create here.

The major structure is here. The architectural vision is established. What remains is the part that makes this opportunity so interesting: you get to finish it your way.

Design the kitchen around those views. Create bathrooms that reflect your own style. Choose the finishes, textures and details that will give the house your fingerprint. Continue with the builder of your choice or bring in your own team. The choice is yours.

Outside, there are 132 acres (Approx.) to roam, run stock, garden, farm, explore and simply enjoy. There is room for horses, productive gardens, orchards, outdoor entertaining and the kind of long afternoons where you genuinely don't need to go anywhere.

Kyneton, Woodend and Bendigo are all within reach, but once you're behind that gate, the rest of the world feels a very long way away.

This is not just a house waiting to be finished.

It is the final build of a renowned Australian architect, set within a remarkable piece of country, and a rare opportunity to take an already significant vision and make it completely your own.

And that view?

Well, that is something you really have to see for yourself.
